Businesses Team-Up & Donate to Nonprofits in Need
The COVID-19 crisis has hit many small businesses in the pocket, and many are scrambling to make it through this unheralded time of recent history. Businesses may be suffering, but it seems that small non-profits, particularly those who assist the less fortunate, are more seriously suffering.
Recently, the DECO Coatings company, along with the businesses On Top Roofing, SouthHaus Group and USA Up Star, collectively made a donation to the local food bank and humane society totaling $10,000.00. The local food bank took the lion’s share of the donation totaling $7,000.00, while the humane society’s donation was $3,000.00.
The three businesses selected were not picked at random. All three of the businesses are the children of the owners of DECO Coatings. DECO Coatings owners Janet and Kirby South instilled strong convictions of helping and assisting others in times of great need.
